PermaLife's SoftBLOCTM
is
yet another of PermaLife's pioneering efforts to stay on the
leading edge of playground and sports field safety. PermaLife
SoftBLOC
is an expanded polypropylene membrane sub-surface which forms
the foundation of this latest playground safety surface system
from PermaLife, the leader in recycled safety surfaces.
This new system combines PermaLife's loose fill
Pour&PlayTM
with our latest offering of SoftBLOCTM
tiles, designed to significantly enhance the characteristics of
granulated rubber products.

SAFETY FIRST!
Parents, school administrators, teachers, recreation and park
officials and other responsible guardians always want a fun,
clean and safe play environment for our children whether the
kids are at home, school or the local park.
While you realize all the benefits of our loose fill safety
ratings, the PermaLife SoftBlocTM
System goes a step further to protect children at play by by
exceeding all impact attenuation standards. In addition,
SoftBLOC provides a long lasting, light weight, easy to install
base that will last for decades and reduce migration of loose
fill rubber.
And Here's an added benefit of
PermaLife
SoftBLOC!!

Now, with the PermaLife's SoftBLOCTM
System, physically challenged children can enjoy the same great
playground experience as their able body peers because wheel
chairs will be better able to negotiate playgrounds. Parks,
recreation and school officials no longer have to compromise
playground safety to achieve Americans with Disability Act
(“ADA”) compliance.
Simply said, the PermaLife SoftBLOC System offers a superior
safety feature, ease of installation and competitive pricing!
Product Specifications and Use
PermaLife SoftBLOC comes in
sections of 4’ x 8’ x2" and 4’ x 4’ x 4" and are topped with
Urethane for durability and perforated for drainage. Just place
them side by side approximately 1/8” to 1/4” apart to further
increase drainage over a levelled and compacted gravel or sand
base.
Each panel comes with 2 anchor
inputs at the center of the tile where a 12” anchor (includes
2 anchors, support rings and caps) is driven into the ground
half way through and then covered with its cap. The panels can
easily be cut for custom configurations with a rotary saw for
any angles, curves or special cuts that need to be done on site.
Once all the panels are in place just add your 2” to 3” of
PermaLife
Pour&Play and you will have the safest, most durable
playground safety surface money can buy!
